I was honored to be given this project after months of collaborating with the entire Office of Communications on hundreds of rounds of edits shared amongst the design team. This was my final design, after working with the Secretary and Director of Communications to achieve their desired concepts and style preferences. The second logo (below in teal) is the old logo that we replaced. It was originally created in the 70's or 80's if I am not mistaken, and as it wasn't originally a vector image, it wasn't design-friendly.
I was asked to design a logo for the CFWI, as there was only an idea for one that had been created in Microsoft Paint (below). I had already created a number of program logos for the Office of Ecosystem Restoration, and they referred me to complete this project for the Office of Water Policy as well.
Three potential designs for The Sustainable Initiative newsletter banner. The bottom design (with the lighthouse) was the initial clip art design idea the client gave me.
